Woke up my sleeping beauty after a spring/summer hibernation..

In prep for hopefully cooler temps this weekend here in Western NC, I awoke my Excalibur Suppressor from its hibernation. I really like this xbow.
I just finished a few 20 yard shots in my basement and it’s as dialed in as I could ask for. My hope is for nice big Nannie or decent Buck to slips up and walks in. Always look forward to time in the stand. When this hurricane passes, I believe the deer will be moving around.

    My forever xbow...right meow...:)

Good luck with the (yet another) hurricane, and with the deer.

No kill to report this morning...but man the 50 degree temps here in Western NC are welcomed. My ole 40’ cedar tree is growing nicely all around my 20’ ladder stand. I may have to trim a just little where I raise and lower my bow up with my drop line. Cedar limbs are hanging it up a little. All in all a great weather morning in the stand.
I climbed down out of my stand walked back to the house around and decided to eat a spicy venison sausage biscuit...hard to beat.

Good luck when you get out again. I agree on the temps. Had to get the wife's van's oil change this am. Told the guys at the shop it felt like my battery finally got a full charge this morning. I will be heading to the stand before too long.:D
